Seared lion’s mane
Sliced thick and seared, lion’s mane has a tender, seafood-like bite.

Ingredients
- 1 lion’s mane mushroom, sliced into steaks
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- Salt and pepper
- Optional: fresh herbs
Steps
- Slice the lion’s mane into 1 cm steaks.
- Heat butter and oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear slices until deeply golden on each side.
- Season and serve simply.
Keep it simple — lion’s mane shines with just butter and salt.
